Open Source EPR-Registration System for PROs

Together with stakeholders in Jordan, GAP for EPR partner GIZ has developed an EPR Registration System, which can be taken over by interested PROs.  

The EPR Registration System fulfils all functions for the exchange between a PRO and the companies and supports a PRO in its reporting obligations. It is open source and can be adopted, customised, and further developed as required. The system covers: 

 

  • Save platform for confidential data 
  • Communication between PRO and companies 
  • User-friendly registration and data upload 
  • Data input of the companies (forecast and actual data possible) 
  • Fee calculation (also for changed fees) 
  • Invoices for companies 
  • Compilation of reports 
  • Material streams 
  • Expected Fees 

 

 

The Tech of an EPR Registration Tool

 

The tool was made in the Python (Django Admins) programming language and features a MIT hosting license. Adopting PROs can therefore use the system for commercial use, distribution, modification, as well as private use. The author (copyright notice) must be named, and liability and guarantee are excluded.
